Noun-verb mismatch
Example:
"A herd of horses are better than a flock of sheep" ("herd" is singular).
"The City feels that this is a bad idea". (A city can't feel).
"This paper will describe..." (Paper can't describe; only people can)

I read your blog, and it is good to see that you have posted about noun verb mismatch which everyone takes light. I never thought about this noun verb mismatch too but your blog made me think. thank you!
